Privacy Policy
Effective date: February 22, 2026
Last updated: February 22, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how SpecFits (“we,” “us,” or “our”), operator of specfits.com (the “Site”), collects, uses, and discloses information about visitors. Please read this policy carefully. By using the Site you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
SpecFits does not operate accounts, subscription services, or contact forms. We do not ask you for your name, email address, or any other personal information directly.
However, when you visit the Site, certain technical information is automatically transmitted by your browser and may be recorded by us or by third-party services we use:
- Log data — your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, and the date/time of each request. This is standard web server infrastructure data. We retain server logs for up to 90 days.
- Cookies and similar technologies — small text files stored on your device by your browser. Details are in Section 3 below.
2. How we use information
We use collected data to:
- Operate and maintain the Site (serve pages, monitor uptime)
- Understand aggregate traffic patterns to improve content
- Serve relevant advertising via Google AdSense (see Section 3)
- Detect and prevent abuse and fraud
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell personal data to third parties.
3. Cookies and advertising
We use the following categories of cookies:
Essential cookies
These are necessary for the Site to function. They include our cookie consent preference record. No consent is required for strictly essential cookies.
Advertising cookies (non-essential)
We use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google AdSense uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to:
- Show ads that are relevant to your interests based on your browsing activity
- Measure ad performance and prevent fraudulent clicks
- Limit how often you see the same ad
Google may use your data across its advertising network as described in Google’s Privacy Policy. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google’s Ad Settings or via the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out tool.
We implement Google Consent Mode v2. If you decline non-essential cookies (using the banner at the bottom of this page), advertising cookies will not be set and Google will serve non-personalized ads only from anonymous contextual signals.
Analytics cookies (non-essential)
We may use Google Analytics or similar services to understand aggregate site usage. If deployed, analytics cookies are governed by the same consent mechanism as advertising cookies. Analytics data is anonymized and never used to identify individual visitors.
Managing your cookie preferences
You can change your cookie preference at any time by clicking Manage cookie preferences or by clearing your browser’s local storage. You can also configure your browser to block all cookies, though this may affect basic Site functionality.
4. Third-party services
Beyond Google AdSense, the Site may rely on standard content delivery infrastructure. We do not embed third-party social widgets, tracking pixels from social networks, or affiliate tracking scripts. Third-party services operate under their own privacy policies.
5. Data retention
Server log files are retained for up to 90 days and then deleted. Cookie consent preferences are stored in your browser’s local storage until you clear it. No personal data is stored on our servers beyond server logs.
6. Your rights under GDPR (EEA and UK residents)
If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or the UK GDPR:
- Right of access — request a copy of personal data we hold about you
- Right to rectification — request correction of inaccurate data
- Right to erasure — request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”)
- Right to restriction — request that we limit processing of your data
- Right to data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
- Right to object — object to processing based on our legitimate interests or for direct marketing
- Right to withdraw consent — withdraw cookie consent at any time without affecting prior lawful processing
Our legal basis for processing technical log data is legitimate interest (site security and operation). Our legal basis for advertising cookies is consent, which you provide (or decline) via the cookie banner.
To exercise your rights, contact us at paragonaiapp@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
7. Your rights under CCPA (California residents)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) grant you the following rights:
- Right to know — what personal information we collect and how it is used
- Right to delete — request deletion of your personal information
- Right to correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information
- Right to opt out — opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information
- Right to non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising any CCPA right
SpecFits does not sell personal information for money. However, sharing data with Google AdSense for targeted advertising may constitute “sharing” under the CPRA. You may opt out of this by declining advertising cookies via the banner or by visiting Google’s Ad Settings.
To submit a CCPA rights request: paragonaiapp@gmail.com. We will respond within 45 days.
8. Children’s privacy
The Site is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 where the applicable law requires a higher age). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
9. International transfers
Our hosting infrastructure and third-party services (including Google) may process data in the United States or other countries outside your jurisdiction. Where transfers of EEA personal data to third countries occur through Google, they are governed by Standard Contractual Clauses under Article 46 GDPR.
10. Security
We implement standard technical security measures including HTTPS encryption for all pages. No system is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security of data in transit or at rest beyond reasonable industry practice.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in an updated “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
